Okey, I just love this! I don’t use Marcarpone, which is an Italian creme cheese, that often. But this is something I have to spread (!). I had it in a restaurant as an appetizer and created thereafter this recipe at home. Try it!
Ingredients (4 pers):
- 4 slices sourdough bread slices
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 tsp fresh black pepper
- 8 slices prosciutto di parma ham
- 1/4 cup raw walnuts (chopped in pieces)
- 1 tbsp liquid honey
- fresh sage, pinch of salt
Heat a skillet with olive oil to medium heat. Divide each bread slice in half. Shortly fry the bread slices. Let them suck in the olive oil and fry on both sides until the start to get some color.
Mix the mascarpone cheese with the fresh black pepper. Spread one layer on each bread slice, but make sure to save some black pepper mascarpone to the serving.
Place one prosciutto slice on each bread half. Pour some of the honey on top of the ham so the walnuts can stay. Add the chopped walnuts and add additional honey. Sprinkle some extra fresh pepper, salt and chopped fresh sage on top. Serve two half of bread on each plate and add an additional amount of the delicious black pepper mascarpone on each plate.
Smaklig måltid!
My plate is from Danish “Bloomingville”.
This sound delicious and easy to make.
