Strawberry smoothie

Strawberry smoothie – who doesn’t love that? Smoothie is perfect in the summer when you want something cold, full of energy and drink something rather than eat. But also winter time, when you need some good energy in the morning before heading to work.

This smoothies has both some good nutritions (healthy fat from avocado, fibers from chia seeds) and a bite from the ginger.

Ingredients: 4 glasses

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tbs honey
  • 1 inch fresh ginger
  • 1 tbs chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup milk

Cut the strawberries in smaller pieces. Place them in a blender together with the banana, avocado, honey, the ginger that you have peeled and grated and chia seeds. Let it mix for about a minute and then pour the wished amount of milk into the smoothie. Mix and check if you have the texture you wish. Then pour the smoothie into four nice glasses. Serve directly.
