Whole grilled Feta cheese with tomatoes, oregano and olive oil

I have the best side dish where you have the side dish and sauce in one. Grilled Feta cheese with tomatoes and olive oil. You don’t need any extra sauce, this is all you need. Sooo delicious (if you like Feta cheese 😉 )! I serve it with grilled fish and roasted vegetables, but you can also have it with grilled meat and a fresh salad.

Ingredients (4-6 pers):

  • 2 packages Feta cheese
  • 16 oz tomatoes (grape, plum or cherry tomatoes)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • black pepper and fresh thyme

Pre heat the oven to 425ºF. Pour half of the amount olive oil into an oven tray or ovenware. Place the Feta cheese in the middle of the tray. Wash the tomatoes, keep the whole and place them around the cheese. Add the rest of the olive oil, lemon juice, oregano and some black pepper. Bake the cheese for approximately 10 minutes.

Before serving, add some more black pepper and fresh thyme. Serve the cheese when it’s warm with e.g. fish or meat and roasted vegetables and a fresh salad.

Smaklig måltid!
