So simple and so good! To order an avocado toast for breakfast or lunch in a trendy café in Scandinavia has been “the thing” for many years now. I know this healthy, green toast is also very popular in the USA.
I prefer to prepare my own avocado toast, when it’s season for avocado, I have a perfect ripe avocado and then let the avocado be the hero and only add delicious spices to it. And, an avocado toast should always be eaten with cutlery.
Ingredients (1 avocado toast):
- 1 slice sourdough bread
- 1/2 avocado
- chili flakes
- black and white sesame seeds
- fresh basil
- salt and pepper
- olive oil
Lightly toast your sourdough bread. Use a fork to gently get your bread toast covered with avocado. Cut fresh basilica and sprinkle over the toast. Flavor with chili flakes, sesame seeds, salt, pepper and some drops olive oil.
