Scandinavian Simple Eating – what is that?

Hej!

My name is Anette Larsson and I am the person behind Scandinavian Simple Eating. I just moved to the US. I am living together with my husband Martin in Florida. I come from Sweden, one of the three countries part of “Scandinavia”. The other two countries are Denmark and Norway and I have actually lived in all three countries. They are all different, but one of the things we have in common is the way we think about food and how we prepare food.

I love food and I am proud of the Scandinavian food culture. Scandinavian food has long traditions. At the same time, just like Scandinavian people, it is inspired by other cultures and modernized. This makes Scandinavian eating simple, healthy and elegant.

I have realised that the Americans knows a lot about the Central European countries, but not so much about the Scandinavian countries. This I want to change. And why? Because I think we have a culture and food culture that you would love. If you just knew a bit more about it.

Therefore I have started Scandinavian Simple Eating. I will inspire you with Scandinavian simple and healthy recipes. With the Scandinavian food and our modern style, I think you all will find new favourite recipes that you and your family can enjoy either a stressful Monday evening or with friends and family coming over for a Sunday dinner. And we also like sweet bakeries. But only once in a while when we are having “mys” / “kos” / “hygge” (cosy moment). So I will of course share those recipes with you as well.

I will soon come back with a lot of Scandinavian food inspiration!

  2. Wow, this paragraph is pleasant, my younger
sister is analyzing these kinds of things, so I am going to
inform her. Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up.
The words in your article seem to be running off the screen in Ie.

I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue
or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I thought
I’d post to let you know. The layout look great though!
Hope you get the issue fixed soon. Thanks I couldn’t refrain from commenting.

    Exceptionally well written! http://foxnews.org/

    1. Hi John! Thank you for your comments. Please let me know what your sister is doing and let me know if I can support her with anything when it comes to Scandinavia and Scandinavian food.
Regarding the words that are running off the screen. I am very sorry about that but I can’t see that problem myself. I’m gonna see what I can do. Thanks, Anette
